Jon Anthony Gentile

 

Jon has years of business experience in the Entertainment industry. Gentile began his career in 1976 as an Independent Contractor serving as an Advance Production Coordinator for Eastern Sports of Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Country Tyme Productions of Wheeling, West Virginia. In 1979 Gentile became President of Capital Presentations of McLean Virginia and Capital Presentations, West, San Francisco California. Capital Presentations produced over 25 music concerts, air shows, professional wrestling events and other promotions for non-profit organizations a year until 1988 when Gentile sold the business and relocated to Hollywood, California.

 

Jon gained valuable experience in the movie and television industry as a broker raising capital for various Producers and Distribution from 1988 to 2001. In 2001 he was recruited to raise distribution funds for Academy Award winning Producer, John Daly. Daly with 21 nominations and 13 Academy Awards (Platoon, Terminator, Hoosiers, Last Emperor, etc.) provided Gentile with extensive Industry experience.

 

After Daly's retirement Jon began traveling to China for Investor relations in 2004. Soon thereafter Trans Global Capital LLC was established. Since then he has traveled extensively throughout China cultivating strategic relations. Jon has learned the Chinese business culture from over 50 flights traveling to China conducting business with Trans Global capital, a Beijing Investment Firm, Qingdao Hongyun Group, and the Henan Publishing Co. The financing, construction and operation of a factory in Zhengzhou, China enabled Gentile to learn the business culture while witnessing the rapid change in China as a developing country focused on capitalism. While in China, Gentile assisted in the recruiting, training and management of a sales force operating throughout China.  Through this valuable experience he saw the huge potential and recent realization of the Chinese fascination with the Hollywood and China Movie Industry.

 

Recently Gentile has reinforced many valuable relationships specifically for this venture with entities such as the Beijing Film Academy, Huayi Brothers, The China Film Group, Hainan Bohai Boxing/Alibaba, and China Zhaoneng Group, to name just a few.  Gentile will serve as a valuable consultant between Hollywood and China. 

 

 

 

Producers, Casting and Affiliates

 

 

Darrin Reed - Producer

 

Darren Reed is a successful Movie and Reality Television Producer.  Most recently, he produced a movie entitled Lila and Eve with Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez, which was released in 2015. Mr. Reed has created and producer of the popular reality show "Bar Rescue" which was just renewed for another season on Spike TV. Darrin sold a TV series called "Ladies in Waiting" to Lionsgate, which is a cross between "Girls" and "Absolutely Fabulous". Mr. Reed also produced a romantic comedy called "Ricky", which was released in April of 2013 on VOD and is currently producing a film called "The Prisonaries" about the real life story of Johnny Bragg. Mr. Reed graduated from Suny-Plattsburgh in New York where he studied theater and business.

 

Darrin Reed and Jon Anthony are currently in development with a China co-production partnering with Hainan Bohai Boxing CBCU and Ali Baba on a script entitled "A Fighter's Spirit" as well as a reality television series spinoff of "Bar Rescue".

 

 

Burrows / Boland Casting

 

TGC intends to contract the services of Burrows / Boland Casting to enhance the company's ability to attract and hire name talent. BurrowslBoland Casting has key relationships with major filmmakers like Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings), Robert Zemeckis (Monster House) and Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil: Extinction), and is usually retained by these filmmakers to cast their films. Some of BurrowslBoland Casting's credits include: The Hobbit, The Lovely Bones, Lord of the Rings (Trilogy), King Kong, Monster House, The Polar Express, Castaway, Resident Evil: Extinction, Death Race, Hostage, The Frighteners Contact Vanishing Point. BurrowslBoland Casting is based in Beverly Hills, California and its principals have long-standing relationships with all of the major talent agencies. As a result, TGC is afforded greater access to the biggest stars and top supporting actors.

 

 

Peter C. Pang - China Legal Services

 

Mr. Pang is the founder and former Managing Partner of IPO PANG P.C., a premier international law firm well-known for its ability to obtain difficult, hard to get licenses, permits, approvals and government support for entry by a foreign enterprise into highly regulated Chinese industries, including pharmaceuticals, gaming, telecommunications, television, information technology and retailing, weaponry. The firm, with substantial expertise in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, equity and cooperative joint ventures, intellectual property, corporate law and political lobbying in China, has been in China since the early 1990’s and is known as one of the oldest joint venture law firms. Mr. Pang currently is counsel to the Washington D.C. Office of Dickinson Wright PLLC and an Affiliate Partner of IPO PANG in Shanghai.  Mr. Pang splits his time between D.C. and Shanghai and continues his active representation of clients in both countries. Mr. Pang was formerly general corporate in-house counsel to several Fortune 500 companies, including Shell Oil Company, Hershey Foods Corporation, Dole Food Company, and Nissan North America. Mr. Pang specializes in helping multi-national companies in establishing a foothold and making an investment in China. He is a lobbyist with many years of experience and is well connected with the central government in China. He also specializes in protecting Famous American Brands from piracy and counterfeiting. Mr. Pang has been the principal driver behind over US$5 billion of M&A transactions over the last 30 years, 15 of which involved Sino-American matters. Mr. Pang advises American companies on how to be competitive in the China and global economy and has held various senior level legal positions, board seats and executive management roles.

As a seasoned business lawyer and entrepreneur, Mr. Pang was most recently the chief legal representative and Board member for a US publicly listed lottery and gaming company, having assisted the company in being the first to deploy an instant scratch lottery game in the PRC by a foreign corporation. He was also the founder and CEO of Globalontime.com, a logistics startup company with operations in Guanghzou, PRC and was also the former Director of International Shopping Network, Inc., a home shopping company with operations in Beijing, the first foreign company to introduce home shopping to PRC in 1994. Mr. Pang was also formerly President of CMC Technologies International, Inc., an electronics device manufacturer and oversaw the sale of the company to Australian bidders. Mr. Pang is a noted expert on doing business in the People's Republic of China, an expert on the legal and economic effect of China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), and a well-respected attorney and businessman having represented, founded, operated and sold a number of businesses ranging from internet and gaming companies to manufacturing and distribution companies located in the PRC.

Mr. Pang speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Mr. Pang is a graduate of UC Berkeley in Biochemistry, Santa Clara Law School where he was a member of Law Review, University of Houston with a LLM in International Economic Law, attended the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and studied law and economics in China and Hong Kong. He is admitted to practice in California, Texas, New York, DC and Pennsylvania, and is specially admitted as Legal Counselor by the Guangzhou Mayoral District for his work on anti-counterfeiting.A frequently invited speaker, Mr. Pang is considered to be the leading expert on the expanding US-Sino economy and the laws that will govern its growth. Mr. Pang was the chief negotiator for the City of Oakland in its bid to obtain two Giant Pandas for the Oakland Zoo. Mr. Pang brings with him over 25 years of business, management and legal experience in the PRC. Mr. Pang was able to execute initiatives that few other Western companies have been able to do in the PRC and is considered a premier attorney/businessman about the Chinese lottery and gaming business in China and Macau.
